Las Vegas-based beauty product manufacturer makes China debut in Watson retail stores

Las Vegas, Nev. - July 5, 2010 -- Las Vegas-based U.S. International Trading Corp. (USITC) recently shipped its first order of Millcreek health and beauty products to the China market. With an exclusive distribution partnership with U.K.-based pharmaceutical and beauty product retail giant, Watson, Millcreek's high quality creams, lotions, shampoos and conditioners are now available to the well-informed, brand-conscious Chinese consumer. Millcreek is the first U.S.-made natural and organic brand in the China market.

"We're looking forward to a great partnership with Watson. We know we have products their customers demand and will enjoy for years to come," said Panch Prasad, CEO of USITC.

The arrival of Millcreek in the China market set off a bit of a media stir, as more than 40 international, Chinese and U.S.-based business and health and beauty media outlets covered the debut through a press gathering hosted by Watson. The first shipment of Millcreek products to China culminates a roughly 3-year long process for USITC in shaping its relationship with Watson and China. Prasad said the effort was well worth the wait, as he respects Watson's scrutiny of all of the products it buys as well as the Chinese government's regulatory environment that helps to ensure products that come into the country are safe.

"We have been selling products around the world for 30 years now," Prasad added. "We understand that there are many different processes that each country embraces to ensure safety and efficacy of products that come to market."

American-made Millcreek is known in the industry as one of the oldest natural and organic brands. Its high-quality formulations command a strong level of brand awareness in more than 30 markets around the world. The partnership with Watson represents even more potential market reach for the strong Millcreek brand. Watson is looking to grow its store count to 12,000 worldwide by 2020. It has 8,800 retail outlets today.

USITC is also currently establishing business partnerships in the former Soviet satellite nation of Belarus, where it hopes to sell Millcreek products and other health and beauty brands it owns. With similar political and economic structures to China, making in-roads in Asia is only helping to pave the way for expansion into Belarus and Eastern Europe, Prasad added.

"We've noticed the Belarus government and business community looks to China as an example on many business-related issues. The two nations have a respect for one another," the CEO added. "We hope this venture in China helps Belarus see our legitimacy as a company and our commitment to this industry as a whole."
